RAF, located in New York City, stands for Rare, Antique, and Fine Jewels. The company belongs to a family that has been associated with fine quality precious gemstones and jewelry for over a century.  Beginning in the mid-1800s, the foundation was laid in the commercial district of old Delhi. Originally, the family was acclaimed for trading in fine quality natural gemstones from prominent gem sources such as Kashmir,  Burma, Sri Lanka (Ceylon), and Colombia. Gemstone dealers and retailers from across India and from the West would visit to procure nature's latest work of art.

In the late 20th century, the family migrated to the pink city - Jaipur, and established in-house gemstone manufacturing unit for European and American jewelry manufacturers. With admiration and trust of international retailers and manufacturing houses the family expanded their footprint in the West throughout the 1970s and 1980s. By 1990, the sixth generation and founders of RAF established a permanent foothold in United States. Their passion for acquiring rare and exceptional jewels grew and culminated into the birth of RAF in 2010.

Today, at RAF, the foundation inherited through knowledge, heritage, and trust is deeply embedded in their DNA and radiates in their collection of rare, antique, and fine jewels. Each jewel offers more than just the artistry of nature + man - it holds a piece of history with a story of either a significant provenance, or origin, or craftsmanship that will stay timeless and in families for generations.

"You should wear jewels either for their remarkable beauty or for the story they tell." - RAF
